Muck, Mess and Mixtures
Let's get messy! Muck and mess is good! in fact, it's mega-marvellous! Dive in and get your hands all sticky and covered in paint. Play with liquids, squish some dough and checkout the slushiest and mushiest foods. Pour, mix, stir, splat! How does it feel to get your hands covered in goo? Don’t worry about the mess… it’ll always wash!’
Abstract Art
We have been learning about abstract art. We looked at artists such as 'Paul Klee' and 'Wassily Kandinsky' and then created our own art. We love the bright colours.

Bubble Painting
All you need is water, paint, washing up liquid and a straw. Then take a deep breath and BLOW! Be careful not to suck up the paint or blow it that hard it covers your face!

We had fun making our own pizzas. We made the dough by mixing water, oil, flour, baking powder and salt. We then added different toppings before cooking in the oven. They tasted delicious! Why not try making the pizzas at home. The recipe is attached below.
If you would like to make the homemade goo you will need to mix 2 large scoops of flour with a pinch of salt, a dash of cooking oil and a large splash of water.

Pirate Ships
We had fun designing, making and testing out our pirate ships. We made them using a plastic tub, a wooden stick, Blu Tack and paper. Once we had made our boats we predicted if they would float or sink. We then placed them in a big tub of water for 15 seconds. All of our boats floated, though a couple were 'touch and go'!
Why do you think we made our boats from plastic tubs and not paper boxes?
