Do some counting in your 2's, 5's, 10's and 3's. Follow these links to warm your brains up:
Fluent in 5 - Spring Term
Please complete 1 page of your fluent in 5 booklet every day. Remember to use the methods we have taught you in class. Once complete ask a grown-up to check your answers. Don't worry about printing the booklet off, just use any paper you have to hand. There are also 4 'Flashback' starter activities for you to complete Monday - Thursday. These recap everything we have learnt up to this point.
Monday
Telling the time to the hour
Today is a recap of Year 1. Remember the 'big hand' points to the minutes and the 'small hand' points to the hour. Click on the image below in order to watch the BBC clip all about telling the time. You can also try the other activities on the same page.
Work though the PowerPoint below and then complete your task. There are three different activities. You could just complete 1, complete 3 or complete all 3!
Tuesday
Telling the time to the half-hour
Watch the following video and then read through the PowerPoint before completing your task. If you have a clock or watch could you challenge yourself to try and recognise the time on it?
Below, are three different activities to choose from. Everyone needs to have a go at 'Label the Clocks'. After, see if you can complete any of the other challenges.
Wednesday
Quarter past and Quarter to
Watch the following video clip which explains quarter past and quarter to. Then watch the PowerPoint.
If you would like to watch lots of video clips and play different games and activities then click on the image below. Have fun! You work is attached below the image. Just like in class, pick the level that best fits your ability.
Thursday
Telling the time to 5 minutes
Start by recapping your 5 times table. You will need to use this to help you with your work today! Can you count in 5s all the way to 60? Why is 60 an important number? Watch the following video and work through the PowerPoint.
Now, click on the image below to visit the BBC web-page. Watch the clip about telling the time to 5 minutes and then complete quiz. Again, your activity sheets are below.

Remember to show your workings out!
