What are we learning in the Spring term?
Spring 1: 'Fairy Tales'
This half term, we will be reading lots of our favourite fairytales, including 'The Gingerbread Man', 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' and 'The Three Little Pigs'. We'll be preparing for our own, very special teddy bears picnic - we cannot wait to meet all of your favourite teddies at home! We will also be learning how to use simple addition and subtraction, baking yummy biscuits and making sweet porridge!
Spring 2: 'Growing'
One of our favourite topics! This half term, we will explore the season of Spring and growing. We will share lots of non-fiction texts about plants and observe our own flower seeds grow! We will also be reading 'Jack and the Beanstalk', 'Jasper's Beanstalk', 'Rosie's Walk' and 'Oliver's Vegetables'. We will be celebrating Chinese New Year and Easter, which means lots of creative crafts! We are very excited about this half term.
