Hello everyone - hope you all had a lovely Easter. It seems so strange not seeing you all - hope you're all ok.
So thinking back to where we got up to with our exciting class book ... we had just learnt that Lilian had been invited on a free trip to Egypt with the Mendoza family,to return the canopic jar safely back to Egypt.
This week, we would like you to write an informative travel leaflet/guide that gives people information about what they can see and do in Egypt. Where they could stay? What is the climate is like? How long it would take to travel there? What are some of the popular tourist destinations? What can you do there? Are there any excursions or day trips you could go on? How much do they cost?
We have included a WAGOLL, a vocabulary mat and a checklist to help you include all the features of a travel advert. Don't forget to use some adventurous persuasive vocabulary and some really appealing images. Get some rhetorical questions in and some exciting vocabulary- really sell Egypt to me and make me want to go there!
We would to see some of the finished leaflets so email them in!
Have fun xx
