Hi Kestrels!

I hope you enjoying the home learning activities and they are keeping you busy! I hope that you will find a bit of everything. Kept doing a bit each day and vary what you do so you continue to make progress in all areas.

Maths update!

 

White Rose have released daily sessions for you to have a go at! These include a short teaching clip explaining what is being taught! (Really useful!) They are currently up to week 2. Work through the activities from week one session one.

Remember, you do not need to print the activities off, you can simply do any working out and answers on a piece of paper.

  • Tynker- This app supports the Computing curriculum and allows children to learn how to code.  It also links into Minecraft and children can design their own characters.
  • Garageband- This app links to our current topic and the Music curriculum. It allows the children to create their own music and songs using a variety of instruments and effects.
  • Google Expeditions- This app allows you to take virtual tours of lots of amazing areas, places, habitats and much more! Additionally it is interactive and gives facts to support learning.
  • Scratch/ Scratch Jr- This app supports the Computing Curriculum and allows children to bring characters to life by coding. Lots of examples are available on the web page. Accounts on the website are also free to set up.
