School Dinners

School meals are currently free to all children in Foundation 2, Year 1 and Year 2 ~ this is an entitlement through the government's Universal Free Infant School Meals scheme.

From Year 3 school lunches are no longer free, however your child can continue to eat a hot school meal either daily or occasionally for £3.20 a day.

Alternatively, your child can bring in a healthy, NUT-FREE packed lunch.

Free School Meals

A free school meal is available to those who qualify and we believe it is important that those who qualify take up their child’s entitlement so that their child can receive a cooked school meal each day. Free school meals can be applied for online at: www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/education/school-meals

If you are unable to apply online, please contact the school meals team at Nottinghamshire County Council on              0300 500 80 80.

Payment for School Meals

If you require your child to be provided with a school meal, payment must be made to the school in advance, (before your child/ren eat a dinner). Payment can be made online using ParentMail (Arbor from Easter 2026) – this is our preferred method in the School.

Fruit and Milk

Break-time fruit is also provided free of charge up until Year 3 after which your child has the option of purchasing snacks from the tuck shop. Alternatively, your child could bring a healthy snack from home for break-time such as a piece of fruit or a breakfast bar (no chocolate or crisps).
